Why This Journey Matters

Theatre as a weapon against injustice, a bridge between communities, and a mirror for society. Now, we're taking Nepal's stories to Europe's stages with two powerful plays that address gender inequality and environmental crisis.

Forum Theatre Workshop

The "Forum Theatre" workshop explores a form of theatre that Shilpee has been practicing for many years: Its goal is to give marginalized groups within society a voice and use theatre as a discussion forum for social change. Through forum theatre, Shilpee draws attention to social injustices and attempts to encourage a change in thinking among the audience.

What You'll Experience:

Participate in interactive theatre exercises that break down barriers between performers and audience

Explore conflict resolution through performance and collaborative storytelling

Engage in cultural dialogue about social justice issues affecting Nepal and Europe

Learn techniques for using theatre as a tool for community empowerment

Experience firsthand how Forum Theatre creates safe spaces for discussing difficult topics

"Theatre is not just entertainment—it's a laboratory for social change. Join us in exploring how performance can transform communities and challenge oppression."
