From the Himalayas to Europe
A Journey of Stories, Identity & Environment
For 18 years, we've transformed communities through the power of performance, challenging injustice and sparking conversations that matter.
Theatre as a weapon against injustice, a bridge between communities, and a mirror for society. Now, we're taking Nepal's stories to Europe's stages with two powerful plays that address gender inequality and environmental crisis.
We believe in theatre's power to challenge injustice and create meaningful dialogue. Every performance is an opportunity to reflect, question, and inspire change in our communities.
This European tour represents a milestone in our journey, bringing Nepali stories to international audiences and fostering cross-cultural understanding through the universal language of theatre.
Named after esteemed Nepali playwright Govinda Bahadur Malla Gothale, our theatre serves as the heart of Nepal's contemporary performance scene.

A Story of Identity, Citizenship & Spiritual Truth
Bhumi, a 25-year-old stateless tour guide, meets Sagar, a 48-year-old Canadian tourist of Nepali origin who is seeking peace. As she guides him through Gautam Buddha's palace, they debate Buddha's decision to abandon his wife Yashodhara and newborn son Rahul, each viewing the story through the lens of their own struggles.
