Shilpee Theatre, Battisputali, kathmandu, Nepal
The play is developed in the ‘Baffoon’ form of theatre. Bafoons have unusual body, costume, expression and bad-mannered satirical comedy language. But, when one sees them deeply, those kinds of characters can be found in our society. ‘I am not sorry’ raises the issue of domestic violence, environment, religion, MeToo, discrimination over disability etc. The Baffoons enjoy themselves by mocking and playing with the topics and issues that concern humans, reminding the audience that these are human issues and not the problems of the Baffoons.
