Believed to be an incarnation of Tara, Lichhavi princess Bhrikuti Devi is considered to be the first wife of the Tibetan King Sontsen Gampo. The play travels in her story and takes us through her contributions in establishing diplomatic relationship between Nepal and Tibet. As a devotee of Buddhism, she brought many sacred images and craftsmen as her dowry. She made many efforts to popularise Buddhism in Tibet. She also established various Stupas across the nation. Alongside the story of her efforts in Tibet, the play also weaves a beautiful love story between Bhrikuti and Songtsen Gampo.
